Before we left the the Grand Canyon to go to the Havasupai Falls, I had to do my research on the place, I bought and read about 10 books with what little money I had. On the way there the Prioress got us lost a bit but I didn’t notice because I was too busy reading. Then when we finally arrived at the beginning of the trail a complete stranger gave us direction and then the Prioress asked them if they could guide us. They agreed which was very generous of them, and to my advantage I could keep reading. They hike down was rocky and filled with plants and animals that I read about in some of my books. The bag I took with me was filled with my knowledge books, and I didn’t really think to buy any more water or snacks. When we got to the falls it was just like I read about in the books but seeing it in person was so much better. It was quite fascinating.
