The Prioress

My friend, the Oxford Cleric, always has his nose in a book, which was no surprise to why we kept getting lost on our way to the Grand Canyon. When we got there we stood at the edge of the trail down looking at the map, trying to understand our way down. Then someone approached us, the Knight, and said that we looked lost, he said he knew the way and gave us directions. I’ve never been to the falls so I didn’t want to risk getting lost on the trails down. Before they were about to start hiking down I asked the Knight and his son if we could go with them to guide us. Before we descended I prayed for a safe journey down and felt thankful for meeting these new courteous friends. The hike down was hot so I had to stop and power my face every once in a while, I could be seen looking like a greasy mess. When we got the falls it was nothing like I imagined, it was so beautiful. I thanked the Knight and his son for guiding us to one of God’s greatest creations, which they helped me see.
